Following a wave of recent acquisitions and private equity backing, I'm working with a property design and consulting business based in London excited to be working on a Group Financial Controller position. This is an exciting opportunity to join a business in a stage of astronomical growth the company is already market–leading in turning over close to 400 million U.S. dollars and has a presence in over 50 countries across the world 4 more acquisitions are lined up for the next six months of this year.
This group financial controller position is a newly created role that will look after both the controls day–to–day side of finance as well as the treasury this role will oversee a variety of things across finance including;
project accounting
statutory consolidations
multicurrency accounting
treasury
cash flow
management accounts
Initially, this role will be involved the entire breadth of group financial controls including transactional elements but this side is in the process of being offshored to their hub in India so over the next six months this person will be responsible for that handover and then the role will move across to more of the high–level responsibilities.
We are looking for somebody who's used to working in an incredibly fast–paced environment this business is going through a rapid phase of growth so ideally, we're looking for somebody who's incredibly capable to handle this, to deal with the pressures of working in a PE–backed environment this role will be reporting straight up into the global FD who is incredibly impressive individual so you get some fantastic exposure here.
The ideal profile we're looking for is somebody who's qualified in a top ten audit firm and has at least five years post–qualified experience and will have worked in an environment that is either sales or consultancy and you will have experience working with projects and also with treasury.
