ROLE TITLE: Credit Analyst, Real Estate Finance, AIB Capital Markets

 

LOCATION: Molesworth St. Dublin / Hybrid Working

 

This role is being offered on a PERMANENT basis.

 

SUMMARY OF ROLE:

*Real Estate Finance is part of the Capital Markets division in AIB. *The Real Estate Finance Team covers the whole of the Republic of Ireland and is responsible for the origination and management of Commercial Real Estate Investment related lending and Real Estate Development lending.  It is a customer centric business unit specialising in servicing the financial needs of existing and new customers operating across all Real Estate sectors. *Applications are now invited for a Credit Analyst to join the team.  *The holder of this role will have experience of lending to different sectors, ideally to include property lending, financial modelling, preparing credit applications, market research and assisting in portfolio management.  *The role will also include representing AIB at customer meetings, external market events, and supporting Real Estate Finance in achieving business plan and implementing strategic initiatives.
 

WE'RE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO HAS:

*Strong time management skills and attention to detail with the ability to prioritise tasks. *Strong analytical skills together with an ability to think and act laterally and creatively. *Commitment to managing and maintaining a strong relationship with existing clients through assisting the Associate & Associate Director with the provision of a first class quality customised service to a broad customer base. *An ability to work on own initiative and interact as part of a highly motivated team, collaborate and be a positive team player. *Experience in contributing to the preparation of credit applications and proficiency with AIB systems, Word and Excel. Credit assessment and credit management skills including cashflow analysis and financial modelling. *Demonstrate strong knowledge of macro environment, industry and regulatory trends.

*1+ years of relevant experience in financial/credit analysis, property lending, corporate finance or project finance *Knowledge of credit analysis and structuring *Financial modelling skills and experience in Excel *Clear, concise report writing skills *Effective interpersonal and communication skills *Proven customer relationship skills *Proven track record of project delivery against challenging objectives and timelines
