Responsible for the interpretation and application of U.S. federal contracting regulations to/for the company. Responsible for providing leadership, guidance and assistance to each of the Company's business units concerning U.S. government regulatory and compliance matters.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Serve as the corporate focal point with the Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA), Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) and other regulatory entities.
Develop, initiate, maintain and revise policies and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and cost accounting standards.
Identify areas of compliance vulnerability and risk, and assist in the development and implementation of corrective action plans
Provide regular guidance as to the allowability of costs under Federal regulations
Stay abreast of changes in U.S. government regulations and provide timely and accurate communication of changes and hot topics throughout QNA to maintain company awareness of government compliance
Work with business unit management to ensure propriety and consistency of disclosure statements
Support/assist with the implementation of strategic realignments or new structures as initiated by management
Support/assist with the preparation, negotiation, and audit of forward pricing rates, incurred cost submissions, and cost impact analyses
QUALIFICATIONS:
U.S. citizen capable of obtaining a U.S. government security clearance
Bachelors degree in accounting or business
Minimum of 15 years in the U.S. federal contracting environment; 7 years in compliance management
In-depth, detailed working knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations, Cost Accounting Standards, and Truth In Negotiations Act and be considered a subject matter expert
Proven track record of resolving compliance and cost accounting issues with DCAA and DCMA
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Proficiency with Microsoft suite of business software tools
Must be organized, detail oriented, motivated and able to multitask in a fast paced and dynamic work environment
Strong presentation skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive materials and maintain the highest level of confidentiality
Ability to recognize and solve business problems by applying appropriate use of logic to quickly isolate the trends or problems
Must have high level interpersonal skills and be able to interact and communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization; develops key relationships with counterparts across the Company; position continually requires demonstrated poise, tact and diplomacy
Self-directed and highly-motivated, with the decisiveness and flexibility necessary to operate successfully in a changing, rapid-growth, hands-on environment.

WORKING CONDITIONS
Work is typically based in a busy office environment and subject to frequent interruptions. Business work hours are Monday-Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, however some extended or weekend hours may be required.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
May be required to lift and carry awkward items weighing up to 25 lbs. Requires intermittent standing, walking, sitting, squatting, stretching and bending throughout the workday.
