Role:
A rapidly growing but well establish financial services / mortgage organization is looking to add another Senior Accountant to their team. This is a position that will help with the day to day accounting, month end close, journal entries, oversee Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, etc. This position will also be analyzing data, preparing financial reports, preparing financial statements, and assisting with internal controls as well as accounting policies.
Responsibilities:
Assist the Controller with preparation of financial reports and accounting financial statements.
Posts journal entries to general ledger, perform monthly/quarterly close procedures, oversee accounts payable and receivable.
Analyze accounting data, perform financial reporting, etc.
Work with the Controller to develop and revise accounting methods, internal controls, accounting policies and principles as appropriate
Support the audit team with the annual audit
Perform consolidations for several different entities and multiple general ledgers
Provide financial support to projects
Ad hoc reporting, special projects
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree.
3 years of relevant general ledger accounting or prior public accounting experience
A completed CPA or progress towards is a plus
Prior Sage Intech or QuickBooks experience is a plus
Prior experience merging accounting systems or consolidating companies GL's is a huge plus
Compensation
A competitive compensation package will be available for this position including a base salary, annual bonus, as well as medical, dental, vision, 401K, vacation and sick time, paid holidays, floating holidays, etc.
Working Conditions:
This is a hybrid working situation with some flexibility. They would be ideally looking for someone three days a week in the office and two day remote.
