Business Transactions/Tax Associate - Tampa

Profile

Carlton Fields is seeking an associate in Tampa for its firm-wide business transactions practice group. The ideal candidate must have two to four years of tax law experience. Exposure to complex business transactions, securities offerings, corporate finance transactions and joint ventures considered a plus. An LL.M. in Taxation is required. Excellent academic credentials and demonstrated writing skills are required. Admission to practice in Florida and larger law firm experience preferred (but the firm is willing to consider strong candidates seeking to relocate to Tampa from major markets). Candidates must have strong interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team while being able to work individually on client matters in an environment where drive and client service are highly valued.
