Payroll & Benefits Manager

The Payroll and Benefits Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of payroll and employee benefits administration. This includes managing payroll processing, time tracking, and tax compliance, as well as administering employee benefits programs such as health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll for all employees
Managing and maintaining payroll records and data
Overseeing and managing employee time tracking systems
Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations
Developing and implementing payroll policies, procedures, and processes
Administering employee benefits programs including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off
Managing open enrollment periods and employee benefit changes
Resolving employee inquiries and issues related to payroll and benefits
Liaising with external vendors for payroll and benefits administration
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
5 years of experience in payroll and/or benefits administration
Knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and payroll software applications
